\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Poker is a game where players use five cards to form the best hand. The highest hand wins the pot. If two players have the same hand, a high card breaks the tie. If three or more people have the same hand, a secondary pair breaks the tie.<\/p>\n

Most games use a 52-card deck. Each card has a rank. The card ranked highest is the Ace.<\/p>\n

Poker can be played with a group of up to eight or nine people. The table is round. The player who leaves the table loses the forced bet. There are some variations where the players may win the side pot or the main pot.<\/p>\n

The poker game has a “turn” when the deal and betting is passed from player to player. When a player declines to fold, he is called a “drop” and the hand is discarded. When a player calls, he is considered to be an active player.<\/p>\n

Poker is a game of chance. The objective is to get as many chips from your opponents as possible. This is achieved by betting and by reading your opponents.<\/p>\n

A common strategy is to call a raise. This means that you’re betting that your hand is the best. Some of the other players will have to match your bet, which is called a “match”. When a player raises, they are said to have an “active” hand.<\/p>\n

A five-card flush is a straight-flush that contains all cards of the same suit. If there are two five-card flushes with the same suit, the one with the high card wins. The straight-flush is also known as a royal flush.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
